Personalization

Changing Your Profile Picture

Online learning can make students feel isolated from their instructor.  HBFGSAS encourages instructors to upload a current photo of themselves to their profile, create video lectures, and communicate frequently with their students. This document will show how to change your profile picture in your Populi account. 

Switching Time Zones

Due dates are automatically set for the Central time zone. If you live or will be working in a different time zone, you can alter your settings so that due dates reflect your current time zone. Note that the due dates in your activity checklist will not change; those dates will always reflect the Central time zone.

Finding a New Term

Before you begin, you will need to access the correct term for your course.  Use the step-by-step guide below to learn how.

Updating Files

You may need to make changes in documents in the Info tab.  Here tutorial shows how to download the current document, make and save changes, delete the old document, and upload the new document.  

Closing Out Documents

As of April 15th 2017, Populi updated the way you will close out documents.
